I use the Editorial Freelancers Association guide to editorial rates. There is some variability in rates depending on the level of editing your manuscript needs. If you send me your manuscript, or at least a portion of it, I am happy to provide both a free estimate and a sample edit.

I work from my home in the DC area. I usually use Word’s Track Changes feature or Google Docs for electronic files but am amenable to working with hard copy, as well.
